hi i just put a complete exhaust on my 97f150 4.6 from the headers to the new h-pipe converters and catback but i took it for a ride when i was done and smelled something i just figured it was because it was new but i looked
under the truck and the passenger side cats were glowing red i cant figure it out
it is a bad cat, and it needs to be replaced.... wait... you said both? is there a hole in that side of the exhaust which is sucking in air and superheating the exhaust perhaps?
let me start by saying wow what a mess , put everything new on found out there was a short in the wireing harness , the # 3,#4 cylinder wasn't getting power all the time , then one of the new o2 censors were bad then i just tuned it up with original ford stuff runs just like it did when i brought it home from mullinax ford thanks for the helps PROJECTSHO89
