2000 v10
Thanks in advance
I've owned a v10 for about 9 months and pull a 12000 lb trailer 3 to 5 days a week . The milege has been better than I expected ( around 9.5 in town driving with the trailer and that includes a lot of idling) I always use premium . the truck has about 120000 on it . I expect to run it to 250,000 than dump it .
I think you got a decent buy but the service you get is worth more than the price
I have noticed a small oil leak around the timing gear cover . Has anyone run into this problem? I have been using sinthetic oil -mobil 1 since I bought it
your thoughts please
by the way I love the truck

#1 I would replace your tranny fluid unless you know for a fact that it has been replaced.
In fact, I would replace all of the fluids! To include brake fluid!!

Lube & clean your hubs. http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/allube.html
Lube your needle bearings while you're in there. http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/nblube.html
Put in a new fuel filter & new air filter.
Inspect your ball joints (cause you can't lube 'em ... thanks Ford
) You can lube your steering components, though. Sure it's time consuming but a great way to bond with your truck and lighten your wallet.
Enjoy.
