Where on my tailgate does Trailer Special emblem go.

Top left about 6" inside the taligate side.

Since yours is a 1978, it should be on the bottom center just before it curves inwards.

Jermafenser is right, my '77 F-150 & '78 Bronco had them lower center, below the trim. I would give a pic but I can't do that yet.
