I last posted a few weeks or so ago that I had swaped my #2 and #4 injectors in a effort to test the injectors.
I have been trying to get it started ever since.I have been told that when you swap injectors that air gets in the passages and that you just have to crank it over for awhile untill it starts.
I crank on it for a few seconds then wait a few minutes and then do it again,I have done this untill my batterys have died.I was told this can sometimes happen if there is alot of air in the passages,so I had the battrys charged and tried it agian.Same thing happened,no start, and two dead batterys.
Iam waiting to install the UVH becuase I want to check the codes first to see if the injectors are the cause of my issue.
There has to be somthing I missing here, from what I have read it should have started aready.
This truck did run prior to me swaping the injectors and have posted about it under(engine codes) and ( injector change).
any help on this would be great!!!....thank you

You might try removing the deadhead plug at the other end of the fuel rail and cycle the ignition key until fuel runs out. There's one on each head at the opposite end of where the steel line goes in. 1/8 NPT threaded plug.
And.............................
Did you put new o-rings on the injectors when you did the swap?
If not, you may be losing HPOP pressure and there's no way that it will start.
I didn't replace the o-rings.It didn't even cross my mind untill you said it.
I'll replace the o-rings and try the head plug on saturday,I'll post back and let you know if it worked.
THANKS
I was able to get the injectors new o-rings on , and the new harness installed. I wasn't able to get the parts store to charge my batterys today .
I will try agian tomorrow to have my batterys charged,
Well I feel real stupid!..The fuel cut off switch was the issue!!
I just don't know how it would have been triped.I mean it was running(badly)before I swaped the injectors and hasn't moved or been jerked around.
But hey!I got a running truck know and that was the goal,in fact it's running great with no codes or check engine lights.

Do you have a pic of what you are referring to....i ran out of fuel, darn lie-o-meter, anyways i cant get it to start now.

No, sorry, no picture.
Just follow the steel lines from the fuel filter housing to the heads. See where they go in and go to the opposite end of the heads and you will see some square head fittings. Remove those and fuel will pour out.
The easiest one to get at is the starboard side.

Starboard is the right hand side of the truck if you are sitting in the truck. Easy way to remember is port has the same number of letters as left, compared to starboard and right

Also, the "Star" is generally driven by his/her driver.... just another of many ways to remember the pasenger/driver orientation.
