Header Help?
Hi I have a 1979 ford f-150 4x4 with a 351m with headers, I am swapping the 351 for a 460 I was just wondering if anyone knew of any other headers I could use on this truck other than swap headers that are all over $400.00 the headers I have now for the 351m were only $150. Will any other headers work?????? What are the clearence problems with using others? Thanks

No ,not too many header choices for the 4x4 460swap. hooker has a super comp set and L&L has some but there is not any cheap header set up for the 4x4s. I know there expensive hookers the cheapest unless you stay with a stock manifolds.

I would buy headers...they let yer motor breath a whole lot more and you gain a couple horses as well. My brothers got headers for one of those motors and he's got headman headers. I think he got em from a junk yard for about $50 bucks....i would check junk yards before payin full price....just my input.
