Well step 1 of my wireing hell has been resolved and i have 2 more steps to go...i got all the lights in my cab working, including all lights that can dim, i even put an extra light in the ashtray so i can see all my change jingling within lol. i've never seen a cab with all the lights in good working order. My next project will be to get the coil mounted to the fire wall and reduce the visibility of the wiring under the hood, don't quite know how im gonna do the wire hiding for the lights and such but i know how i'm gonna do the coil. The 3rd step is to find all the pointless wireing that people have put on the under carriage over the years from previous owners. So if anyone has any good tips to make my journey shorter let me know....thanks.

 

I use the plastic split wore loom covering for mine.

It comes in all sorts of colours and sizes




I'll ask a mod to merge this updated thread to the origonal so everything is kept in one place...Okay ?

Didn't you whine about a post last week because it caused someone with dialup to be "forced" to wait for the picture to download. You cried and whined about the original poster and even responded by saying that "IMO opinion your response is dumb". Well well well what to we have with your post....a "dialup user FORCED" to wait while the pic of your truck is downloaded. PLEASE practice what you preach and if you want to be a moderator apply to do so. I don't think it's fair for you to complain about other users and you yourself do the exact same thing. I do think your knowledge is a benefit to this site, but posting just to see your "name up in lights" or to respond by being a "smarta$$ followed with a smiley face" certainly does not make it right.

FTE site question.
Why are the images in the FTE gallery compressed down to a certain size ?

A: So Tech Pics & Diagrams from the galleries can be posted in the forums without causing undo downloading for users as long as the amount is minimal in one thread.

The problem is when a user Forces other users to download 4-8 MB of images in one thread from another site.

Photo Gallery means Photo gallery

You GO to a photo gallery to see photos..the Photo gallery doesn't come to you.

That's the other reason why Tech/diagram albums are Hidden from the main page.
