fog lights

Exclamation fog lights

howdy l have 03 sport, plus l added fog lights that pluged in to the wiring harnest but no light. the fuse in the box is good. what now

Did you plug into the factory fog lights in the wiring harness? You will need the Light switch with fog lights if your truck didnt come with fog lights... I dont know if there will be the correct wireing up to the switch for that.... just have to look and see i guess.

howdy yes they were factory lights, l pluged in the wiring harness. the light switch? is that a dealer item only? thanks gil

salvage yard would probably have them... when you turn your head lights on you will be able to pull the **** out to turn the fogs on....

I dont know if you will have the wireing for the fogs all the way up to your dash since it wasnt a factory option for your truck....

howdy the ford manual on the wiring, shows that the wiring complete to the switch. l discovered that even as two plugs for the horns, one on each side of the truck. l tested the horn to see if it worked it honked. is there a safe way of removeing the switch? thanks

im not sure.... i darned near destroyed everything trying to get the thing out..... theres a little easy realease switch on the inside of the switch itself but i have no idea how to acess it from the out side... hopefully sombody who knows can help us out....

if you want, there is a way around getting a new switch. what you need to do is find out what pin has the power to the running lights/parking lights. then you take a wire and jump that wire to the pin with the fog light. only down side is that the fog lights will be on any time you have the parking/headlamps on.

np man, i have the fog light switch but i wanted them to be able to run with only parking lamps so figured this little trick out. hope it works out
