I am going to follow this thread closely, because i was just about to post this myself in the next few minutes. I currently have a Rough Country leveling kit on mine, that includes new springs. This plain sucks, and about 18 months of use the springs are phagged badly, yesterday i measured it and the left side is 1.25" lower than the right side, and the back of the truck is about an inch and a half higher, and right after the install it was about .5 higher. So i am in the market as well. I don't want to do any hanger stuff again i was just there.

I was looking at the Dick Cepek springs-

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Dick-...spagenameZWD1V

which would work well for me considering the price, and the fact i don't need shocks or u-bolts.

I was also looking at the Jack-it product-

http://www.jackit.com/ford/ford_leveling_kits.htm

but i don't want to use the stock springs if possible. I like how that includes the relocating panhard bracket with a cam adjuster, cool

There is also the DR mini spring pack-

Danahoe racing all the way. I think they guarantee lifetime no sag on their new design of springs, they do on mine at least.

The mini pack is just nothing more than a glorified spacer block that distributes the weight out farther than a block. Do they have a complete eye to eye leveling spring out, kind of how the 05+ guys have a replacement coil goin on?

I have a rough country 6" lift and my front spring pack sagged out aswell but their replacing them because the garentee their springs never to sag. You should see if u can get them replaced then sell them as new springs then buy a different type.

My 285s BFGs on 10 wheels rubbed alittle stock. I have a 2 inch front and 2 inch rear Tuff country Add-A-Leafs. The Springs lifted it 2.25" in the front and 3" in the rear. I don't like the leveled (Squatting in the rear) look, I use my truck, hauled 5,559#s in the bed 450 miles 2 months ago. My 250 CC long bed didn't have much rake to it. The Firestone M/Ts 305s rub a little now!! I would think if you want more then 2 inches you would need a full lift!

Pass on an inevitable problem to another PSDer to get your money back on a bad purchase?

I have Superlift 6in all new front end, its got 20000 miles on it and it hasnt sagged yet theyre springs for the diesel/V10, are stout. Im not sure how many leafs they add vs stock but i would check theyre leveling kit(2in). They only prob so far is one of my ball joints is fading due to the wider tires.

I talked to Truck Toyz who is a sponser. They told me to go with DR. He said they are the best. They have the 2" mini pack setup for $225, and they have the 3" hanger system with shocks for $750. The hanger system comes with shocks that are about $100 each. So that brings the lift down to about $350 which is not bad. The hanger system will give the truck a better ride i think. And my truck sags alot in the front, so i think the 3" would level it out nice.

Superlifts 6in springs i think are different than the 2-3in, i think both have sackles. As far as support goes the 6in have more of an arc in the spring and theyve held up well. Ride is nice. So if you stay with leafs and dont go with the new COIL OVER CONVERSION type kit, i can vouge for their strength. Anyone know of someone whos done the coil over kit, fabtechs looks pretty intense but im not sure what they do for heights?

I just got my 2.5 leveling kit from Revtek. Love it. I have a 350, so I didnt' have the **** draggin look either. its close, but it just depends on how you look at it. I have yet to get the 285's, but that is what I am getting when I need tires. the Revtek is spendy, but I have heard, been told. there better than most. I can't tell you why, but the shop got my money. lol and easy to install. now i have stock (front) springs if anybody needs them. Happy shopping
