Tranny/T-case

1995 Ford F-150.....5.0 AODE. The aode is slipping and I was goind to swap in and e4od...my question is...will the e4od be alright in my truck with the aode eec in my truck or will I have to swap it....secondly, with the manual shift t-case from an 88 f-150(borgwarner?) bolt to the back of the e4od correctly (splines/bolt pattern) or should I convert my truck to a 5 speed?(hehe don't tempt)Thanks

The E4OD is computer controlled, and won't run at all on a 4R70W computer, so you'll need the right one. If your truck is mass air, you'll need to find a mass air E4OD computer, which are hard to find. Another option is a standalone controller for it, but those are expensive.

The t-case should bolt up fine.
