Corruption under every rock

http://www.newsday.com/news/local/lo...news-headlines
These SOB's make my skin crawl. For me this hits close to home because I work for a vollie FD. 3 out of 5 have tried to get me fired many times. because I am a straight shooter. I keep telling them. Take your best shot so I can take mine. (Print button) Nothing I would like more than to file a cival suit against one of these low lifes.
It's the old do as i say syndrome.

In Wake County, NC (Raleigh and beyond), the head of the Wake County school transportation and his accomplices, stole $3.8 million dollars of taxpayer money. I'm not sure how much if any was recovered. To make it worse, Wake County just passed a several bonds to pay for new school construction. I don't live in Wake County, but I'd still like to take a shot at the crooks.

The part that scares me is many people think this is a localized problem and it doesn't happen in their neck of the woods. WRONG! Pay attention and ask questions. We are a very laxed society with too much trust with our local officials. All local govt board meetings are open to the public. The sad thing is no one exercises that right.

Its everywhere. Here in Memphis the power company has been caught giving one of the city council members favors on his electric bill to the tune of $16,000. Several of our state reps from Mermphis were caught in a FBI bribery sting last yr. More than one of our city council have been caught in bribery stings. Corruption is in all parts of the Memphis goverment

That's mild compared to the complete corruption all over this blessed country of ours. The more I surf the net, the more embarassed I get. I could post a link to some protesters, but it just blew me away so bad that I can't pass it on. Especially due to the adult nature of some of our thoughtful and intelligent protesters of every breed and niche. Egad.

As long as a man or woman breaths, no matter where, there's going to be greed and corruption. Some people justify the greed ... but there IS no justification for greed.

One good thing though... I believe there'll be a Judgement Day. Mua-ha-ha-haaaaaaaa! That and my faith are about the only thing that keep me going most days.
