I'm failing a math class, the tutor is not helping only making it worse 57 with out 40 with. My worklife sucks I get bitched at for doing things wrong when I was told to do them that way. My needle using pot smoking drunk so called mom. has lost everything, totaled out 2 SUV's and got 2 DWI's. Called me on a school night and I was supose to come and get her at 11:30pm when I get up at 6:00 for school. They were coming to get the double wide on a day I had 1 hours notice I got a friend, his mom, and a trailer, cleared a 2000SQ/F house in no time. his mom wanted the dishwa sher I said for helping me it's yours. Mom come out to granny's and says where the blank blank is my dishwasher you blank blank.packed on the trailer 2 leather couches 2 leather recliners, a 36'' Sony TV a $4K dinning room set and 3 high dollar saddles. She has now threatened to kick me out of my shop( my truck my 2 tool boxes, a hoist, a compressor).......... I'm forced to shoot my dog because of where I'm living we can't have dogs and it is so skinny. I grew up with him he is an American Pitbull. But he is part of the family. He is a one family dog. She will not feed the animals on the place, I can't as it is I only get 2 hours a night of sleep. My grandma only brings me bad news, and gets mad at me when I will not get my mom as granny can't drive at night. Oh ya 2 of my shot guns have gone missing.... hhhhuuuu!

Man I feel for ya, but I had to leave at an early age myself. It's hard, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Just do it and don't look back.

 

People using drugs and needles can not be trusted with anything, it does not matter who they are. They will lie, cheat, steal, and kill to fill their arm. More then one news story about a mother selling her baby to buy more drugs.

My advice (sounds like you are over 18), join the military. If accepted, sell everything you own (except maybe the tools) unless you can get very cheap long term storage, put the money in a bank with some in a CD, learn a skill/trade, get college credits, save your money while enlisted, come out after 4-10 years way ahead of where you are now.

The military makes a good family. Plus, you will be happier, will have accomplished something to be proud of for the rest of your life, and GOOD employers will want to hire you.

Noone is forcing you to shoot the dog, dog has not done anything wrong. It is as dependent upon you as a four year old child would be. Take it to a shelter. If noone adopts it, then have them put it down.

 

Right now is a good time to join the Army. They have doubled nearly all the bonuses. 11B (Infantry) has a signing bonus of $20K. $10K when you complete infantry school and the other half on your third year anniversary. You'll have housing and everything paid for if you live on base. If you live off base you get an allowance of some sort but I dont know how much. Also when you are in basic and any other training you get active duty pay direct deposited into your account, on top of your bonuses.

If you want to go to school you can join the Gaurd they will cover 100% tuition up to 12 hours and anything over that the Federal takes over, plus they pay back any existing loans you have out for school.

It really is a great thing to be a part of.

The best advice is keep treading water, the individuals that can stay afloat the longest are the most sucessful in life. You may not become rich, famous, or any smarter in the process, but if you stay afloat and don't sink below the surface you'll still have your self-respect.

Any adult who expects their children to bail them out of their own messes should be left as far behind as possible. I've been there before, and seen it too many times since.

That you can carry your own load is amazing at this point, but you are doing it.

DON'T even consider yourself for an instant responsible for your Mom. You owe her nothing.

SHE caused you, you didn't create HER.

You my friend, are beyond abandoned by her. She now considers you PREY.

It goes without saying that your guns got ripped off for dope...

You have two choices. Stick around until YOU get completely trashed out by her, or cut it all loose and strike out on your own to straighten out your own life.

Parents are supposed to set an example. By God she has - but it is the classic "How NOT to Live" example that a fortunate few of us survive to rebel against successfully.

But if you are going to do that, it should be as soon as you can manage it.

 

Dude, joining the military is the perfect thing for you. It will get you out of that hell-hole, let you get your mind off of school for a while and get you some good cash. After it settles down you can finish school and go to OCS. ALso, pray pray pray. He'll listen.
