OK guys, are bumper guides in? I think they look good on a Super Duty and there are a few gusy running around here with them. Then the other half of me think they should be reserved for the 85 year old guy in the 1985 Dodge Caravan with the big reflectors on the mud flaps that drag on the ground who can't see over the sterring wheel. That do you guys think?
I was driving through upstate NY a few weeks ago and I almost choked... A guy had a white F250/350 6.0L w/ more lights than I've ever seen on anything other than a tractor trailer. They went all the way around his tool box, on his steps, under his tailgate on his mirrors, in his grill and of course, bumper guides too... Definitely couldn't miss him changing lanes! I'm not saying having bumper guides makes you this guy, just a funny story.
By the way CDR, I'm right up 117 east from you...
I like those alot, you should deffently get them. I want to get them for a excursion. I know this is the superduty forum, but does anybody have a picture? There isnt any in the excursion forum.
I'm basically at the intersection of Bolton, Harvard and Stow. Down by where GenRad used to be if you know where that is. So you must be right next to Rt. 117 Auto. Used to be a favorite Saturday destination for me.
I know right where you are. I am about 2 minutes from 117 Auto. I ride my ATV in the woods behind there. If I stood on my roof I could see it. I basivally lived there when I was building a race car. I went down for the "all you can carry for $35 sale". I have to hold the record for ripping them off. I was able to get 15 wheels and tires across the line carrying them. I had to take of an exhaust system from Carolla and then just slipped the wheels over the pipe. My back still hurts!
Sorry for the double post. I'm probably going to pass on the bumper guides, but I'm looking at a few pics of them on a Super Duty and they look decent.
