Ok - so I pulled my 351W out of my '84 Bronco last night - but I rounded one of the nuts that holds the flex-plate to the Torque converter. Can I replace these nuts with a 'standard' nut of the same size/thread? Or are they something special that I need to replace exactly?
These are special nuts, for use with the torque converter only. These are used for FX, MX, and FMX Cruise-O-Matics, C-4's and C-6's among others. Most Ford dealers will have them.
