I'm down to the torque converter bolts. From what I have read they are nuts.
What size are they we were trying 9/16 12 point. They are rounded off. They were that way didn't do it. I want to leave the converter in.
What are my options for removing them.

Does that Gator Grip socket work , grinder,
Snap-on/Mac have specialty sockets for that purpose that have never let me down(have used them in a similar case too). If you don't want to spend the money on those get a 6-point impact socket that is a little small and beat it on with a hammer. Be sure to give the nuts a good soak with pb blaster. A grinder is a sure way to damage the studs, if the above suggestions don't work you may have to resort to a hammer and chisel.
