New HELP leak in oil pan

I have a 2000 i have rust on the oil pan it needs replaced i hear you have to take the engine out to replace this. Has anyone ever done this and what way should i go about it is there and easier way to do this?

if it isnt leaking then you can grind down the rust and apply a anti corrosion coting from ford onto the oil pan after cleaning.check out tsb 05-20-3

its leakin its bad it needs replaced
