Can anyone recommend a good bug remover. I have a new 06 white screw and drive to and from work in the dark and getting the bugs off is almost impossible.
I went to the Supermarket and got myself some 3M Light Duty Scratchless Scouring pads. Then mixed with a little soap and water the bugs come right off with absolutely no pressure needed. Used this method all last summer and not a single scratch on the paint from using this.
Clean it with a good cleaner/degreaser and then wax the hell out of it! The extra wax will help the bugs to slide right off when you clean it the next time.
Get some of that spray/detail wax. Every time you wash it apply this as the last step. Even if you wax (real wax) it put this stuff on afterward. It will make it tons easier the next time you wash. It washes off really easily with soap, so it needs to be applied each time, but the 5 minutes it takes to apply it to the front/mirrors saves lots of time scrubbing later. I like the Meguiar's Quick Detailer.
