How do you pull codes?
I'm sure it is in here somewhere, I just can't find it.
How do you pull codes on a 06' 6.0 F350?
My problem is, every now and then when I get about a mile from my house the wrench light will light on my dash. I stop, turn the truck off, restart and it goes out and stays out. this only happens about once every 2 weeks.
Will there be a code somewhere I can pull to see what this problem is?
Does the truck store codes or do you have to pull it when the wrench light is on?

This was discussed not too long ago. I'm not sure if there's a reflash to turn the wrench light off (not needed on a diesel) or if they have to replace the instrument cluster. At any rate, the wrench light means nothing in terms of diagnostics on your diesel. You do however need to visit your dealer.
