Split shots

I know this has been posted a few times but I want to make sure I have it straight before I do it. 1997 psd with AAs. Can I put a set of ABs, ADs, or AEs splitshots in my truck? Does any special programing need to be done due to the splitshots or will the truck run the way it is?

Split shots need special programming to work in our trucks. They will run fine with programing, but are not the best performance option.
If you want a little more fuel you can go with AC code injectors they are single shots if you go any larger than that you will have to go to at least a stock OBS turbo housing.

well that mostly right. the split shots aren't a great performance upgrade. you can easliy upgrade your AA's with a DIY injector kit for less than $350. But that said the splits will run fine on your current programming. they will not be optimized but they will run fine. I am running the AD's splits on my 97 with single shot programming.

San Antonio is also correct about your turbo housing. if you keep AA or AC's you can keep the .84 housing. if you go larger you will want to find a 1.0 or stick your stock housing. there are many guys running larger injectors with the 1.0 housing. Thats what I am running with the AD's.

All right sounds good. Ive looked into the DIY injectors but wasnt sure if i wanted to tackle that or not. Just looking for a little more so thought the ADs might get me there. Yep kept the stock housing for that reason.
