Over the last two years of basically rebuilding the X from the ground up, I have had just about every little quirky thing happen that you can think of. CEL's one after another, leaks here and there...
Finally got all the lights off and leaks fixed. Let my guard down for just a minute..............................
The ABS light came on yesterday on the way home....
Hopefully I'll get to play with it this weekend. I've got new sensors ordered - might as well replace those since I've replaced damn near everything else on the truck.
I'm also going to pull the rotors again. I had to put longer studs in the rotors to get the new wheels on, so I'm wondering if I have one of the ABS rings on the back of the rotors tweaked and running cocked.
I think it is punishing me because I haven't spent much time on it lately. It stayed in the garage most of the winter because I worked my tail off cleaning and painting the undercarriage and I didn't want snow and salt all over it. I think it is getting it's revenge...
My wife quit asking me about how much things cost when she sees me playing with the X. She's decided she really doesn't want to know...
Come to think about it... she doesn't ask me about money on any of my hobbies. She must be in denial (which is good for me)...
