Hello i have a 97 powerstroke with 160000 miles on it. I have a afe intake, edge evolution, 3in downpipe wit 5 in exhaust and have had my backpressure valve honed out. I experience problems when i am at a dead stop and nail on it. It has a ton of lag and i dont know why. poeple told me it was from the exhaust but others told me that would have nothing to do with it. I am thinking about doing injectors would that make a big difference or waste of time. If anyone has any ideas what this is please comment me back.

lazer, welcome to the site. With your set up right now, if you go to bigger injectors you will not believe how much more power you will make. I've done a ton of mods to my truck including but not limited to Nitrous. And by far the biggest power increase came from the Stage 1 injectors. The first time I layed into my truck after injectors, I almost crapped!!! I couldn't believe it. Huge power gain. But I would dump that Edge and go with a DP-Tuner. Hope that helps.

i am not sure what kind of boost i am putting out and yes i also have a auto tranny. I had something done to my backpressure valve but it had lag before that was done anyways. How much more power would i see if i just went with the dp tuner over my edge. thanks luke

www.dp-tuner.com is the site, check them out they have 16 different presets to choose from ($45 for each preset) and i hear that they are HONEST hp gains, and that they actually claim less than they really put out! can't wait to order mine (once i put on my 3" downpipe and intake coming in the mail 
)
