It's not mine, but he is selling it for like 11 or 12k?
It's got 6" total lift on 35's, now has fender flares and recently passed inspection (got pulled over w/ no flares on). It's only got like 55k on it. It's a base model but has been upgraded with carpet, clearance lights, fog lights, third brake light, and some audio stuff. It's also a 5 speed manual.
It's a 1980 CJ-5
Dana 300 Tcase
4spd Manual
I4, carb
Frame in great shape, suspension too. Minor rust, *custom* 2 tone paint LOL jk jk
Needs a clutch and rear seal. Total parts cost is 220 (I was getting a LUK clutch).
I bought it for $1600 about 6 months ago and the only thing I've done is hook up a high idle throttle cable, install a new battery, and clean some stuff up.
What will ya offer me? There is a BRAND new soft top ($750) w/ it also with full doors. Starts, runs good for being 28 years old, new battery and 4wd works great.

I'm also selling the Mazda if anyone is interested LOL
I was gonna ask for 3grand if the 4wd and lorange wasn't working.
6" skyjacker lift, 4.10's, Detroit truetrac rear, 33" sportking a/t's, new clutch, ball joints, wheel bearings, brakes need work (been sitting I think the rotors are warped), has a small valve cover leak, starts great w/ new battery, 170k on the od BUT it has a jasper motor w/ 60k on it, and the od is a % off b/c of the gearing.
I was just digging at Dave, however I do love jeeps, but the little lady would clean my clock, she says we have to many vehicles now. I'll trade you a wife for it ha ha.

Ha ha, wendell. You are freakin hilarious. But yeah, I can completely understand the little lady thing. ...ah... wives...
This thread sure got sidetracked. Like Bigdave suggested, it's gatta be the shift motors are either gone or you've got an electrical problem to the shift motors. You'll probably need a wiring diagram to see if there's any relays in line, but you'll need to test the shift motors by energizing the proper pins in their plugs(don't know wich). Or buy new ones to check that the wiring is good. If it is electrical, return the motors.
