Not that i would condone any racing or high speed driving but i was wondering what the top speed all of you guys have hit? including what mods you have or don't have.
When I installed my Edge and went to the default settings it had a top speed of 100 MPH listed. I don't know if that is an Edge thing or if it is in the factory PCM. I assume the truck will not go any faster than that unless you override the top speed setting on the PCM.
Doesn't really matter to me. I can get 0-60 in 7 seconds and I personally top out about 75-80 on the four lane. Thats plenty (too) fast for a truck!
I have hit 100 on a flat road with a completly stock truck, scared the hell outa me that i was going that fast with a 6000lb truck, but was surprisingly smooth for that rate of speed. I topped out at 115 with my 02 Explorer
any body have their fastest 0 to 60 times? i'm interested to find how fast these tritons can do it. Whats your fastest 0 - 60 and what mods do you have? also if you have before your mods 0-60 and post mods 0-60 that would be cool.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't most new models governed around 98-103? Unless you unlock it with a programmer, all the mods in the world will only inprove you 0-60 time. For topic sake though 103 governed in my 04 supercab, and It ain't enough. My 89 T-bird ran 120's stock all day.

i believe that is correct, i got to 103 going down a pretty good hill, got up to that speed pretty fast, (it seemed like it anyways) i don't think you can get any faster than that without a programmer
I could have swore that my 04 SC FX4 went 105, bone stock, in Jan, flat land, to Sacramento! And it felt like it would go more, but I thought 105 was fast enough!. I was just checking it out because my 94 and 06 F250's topped out at 95. Go figure!
Can I get in trouble for admitting something? Or do I have to wait 7 years??
In other words, I'm fibbing

I read somewhere that speedometers aren't that accurate at speeds that high. Maybe everyone here's topping out at 100, but their speedo is telling them different?
