5.4 3v tuner
Hey everyone, I was wandering does anyone have experience with a good tuner for the 5.4 3v motor, is it worth it? Although my 06 f250 runs better than my 03 did, I am looking for noticeable power gains, I am NOT interested in fuel economy as much as performance. If you guys can tell me there is a big difference then Im all for it. thanks, T.J.

I recommend the Xcal 2.SCT It comes with 3 tunes that be custom tuned for your type of driving & reprogrammed with emails you can upload from your home computer if you buy the cables to do the update. Check with Troyer Performance. They do great tuning for the modular motors. I've been running his tuning on a custom chip for 3 yrs. I ordered a SCT tuner from him 2 wks ago. They have a 4 wk waiting time for the custom tunes so many people must want their tuning expertice. They are a FTE sponcer. Check out their power combos for your truck at troyerperformance.com
