Non-Ford talk...Gasp!
Yeah it looks like it would topple over in a stiff breeze, but I felt no ill effects when driving it home, even in the twisty mountain driving. I did feel it tug a little when accelerating, and I know it does not accelerate onto the fwy like it did without the camper. But it doesn't feel top heavy, and like I stated earlier, the truck did not lower that much. Dan says it is still not even using the helper springs on it. I'll take his word for it since I did not check.
Interestingly enough, it reduced the wind noise around the driver's side vent window, but not the passenger's side. I still need to get more tie downs on it though. And fix the running lights, floor, blinds, and Dan didn't tell me he let his friends stay in the camper. I wonder if he wants them back? Found an 8 legged friend when trying to sleep in the loft, and a 6 legged friend when cleaning up the loft.

My roommate is happy though, we now have a project we both can work on together without getting covered in grease or oil.

Now it is time for the frilly flower covered curtains, and the orange **** carpet, and the peace signs to go up. Aand the beads, got to have the beads!

Now that I think about it Dan, those old style mag wheels would go perfectly with the hippie look.
Would be nice if that was all it took! It looks much better now from the outside, especially after cleaning the windows inside, and out. I hope you do not have any emotional attachment to those two bumper stickers you had on the rear door Dan.

No, no particular attachment. If there had been, I'd have peeled them off before you ever got here...!
Mike, I think you now have one less black widow on your place and I have one more on mine. I glanced into the bathroom of my motorhome the other day and discovered that a huge BW had spun a web in there and was staring up at me. I had put the toilet out of your Dodge motorhome in there and it was clean otherwise, so it must have been wintering up inside the toilet and came out to take advantage of the new digs. One of the biggest I ever saw. I just shut the door, to deal with it later (I was busy installing a camper just then and a little pressed for time....!)
I'll take a nice pic of it before I dispatch it to spidey heaven...

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Was listening to a mini boom box in the camper today while cleaning it, and working on the door latches, and all of a sudden it just stopped working. I had it plugged into the outlet by the sink, and had a 100ft extension cord plugged into the outside outlets on my patio. I tried different outlets and nothing. Even took the boom box inside to see if it worked and it did. Come to find out, the outlets on the patio stopped working. Checked the breaker panel and nothing wrong. So I guess next day off I will put a call in to the manager and have them get some one over to fix it.
BTW Dan, so far, only the top bumper sticker has been partially removed the Bluegrass sticker is still there for now.

The 6 legged creatures were hornets, I think all spiders have 8 legs. In any case, the hornets were killed with Raid, and the spiders succumbed to the mop bashing I gave them.

Then again, maybe just a little further in one direction and the Misses wouldn't complain too much.
That's a scary thought though, sitting down, minding your own business (and taking care of the business) then wammo!
