PLEASE HELP

I just had a very nice new 302 put in my 1991 Bonco XLT and it is running very nicely. However, the "check engine" light will come on at random periods of time for about 8 to 30 seconds then go off again. Like I siad the engine is a very good one and it is running extremely well. I was wondering if it just might be a electrical error on the switch and that nothing is wrong with my engine. Please help me with any advise.

I had a similar problem when my O2 sensor was bad, obviously without checking the codes it's a shot in the dark though.

PLEASE HELP

If the check engine light is coming on, it should be saving error codes. I would check to see what code it is throwing, and that will help pinpoint your problem.
