Truck weight empty?
Does anybody know the weight of an 02 F350 diesel, 4x4, CC, DRW, LB empty? Thanks for any help.

The reason for my question was I looking at 2 trucks, an 02 and an 06. Both diesel, cc drw, lb. 4x4. I was trying to compare what I could carry and tow on each. I know the tow ratings. But the 02 has a gvw of 11,500 and the 06 is 13,000. I carry a lot of tools and tow a heavy trailer so I have to figure tongue weight also. So knowing the weight empty would give me an idea if the 02 would even do the job. Max should be 4 people and tools that weigh about 2500# and the weight of the tongue on a 10k or 12k trailer. I sometimes drive almost 2 hours to the job, so the weight becomes important. I can add springs, but I don't want to overheat the trans either.
