semi-automatic door release

When I push the button to open the rear window gate it sound like rapid fire automatic weapon. The wiper motor is also not working. Are these connected and could this be the drain on my battery?

Yes it could be your battery drain. It was on ours. The pivot in the window was seized, not allowing the wiper to move. The motor would continue to run to try and park the wiper.

As to the noise don't know but could be.
