I am looking for advice from all the Diesel owners. I have always liked anything Diesel partly do to my father driving rigs when I was a kid. I plan on buy a Ford F250 when I get back to the states in 2 months. I do not plan on Hauling much as I am in the military have nothing to haul. LoL The question is will it be fine to just use the truck a daily driver? I like knowing I can put a lot of miles on it if I take care of it.fficeffice" /><O></O>

Rarely do we haul anything with our superduty's. They are daily drivers and have worked fine for us. Three 7.3l's and two 6.0l's and they all have been good grochery getter's. If this is what you want go for it.

Thanks for what you do. ANG

They only problem with the diesels is the higher maintainance costs. Daily driver is fine just get the engine good and hot on your drive. Short drives are not too good on diesels.

Welcome back home..... and have a big

Thanks for the input. Only 65 more days and I can start to look for a truck.

7.3L owner here. She rarely hauls anything but does tow a boat or the jet ski on the weekends and never has a problem. This is my second 7.3L (I sold the first one simply to buy a newer, bigger one) and I am extremely happy with these truck's performance.

My hat is off to you, thanks for your serice.
