I'm thinking about getting a 7500lb tandem trailer w/electric brakes for hauling my tractor around and noticed that my 98 F150 Off Road is already prewired for a controller.
What brand/type would work with this OEM wireing setup?
Volfandt,
You can order the Tekonsha Prodigy controller with plugs to fit just about any truck. That's about the most recommended controller I've seen. I ordered mine from rjays.com for about $110 shipped. Picked up the adapter locally as RJays didn't carry the one for my '93.
Ditto Prodigy, I have 2 and they are simple in use with many easy to use option. They are very versatile in applications from a light single axle to heavy 3 axle trailers with one controller.
