A few months ago I posted a thread that I had just purchased 4 Cooper tires Stt, (285,70,17). I went elk hunting in rugged rocky, snowy, muddy country and then spent the remainder of winter on snow and mud covered dirt roads. My opinion--the best tire I have ever owned. I have put about 8000 miles on them, they wear great and I believe for as aggressive of a tread these tires are very quiet. I know some of you were wanting a reply. Sorry for taking so long.
I got a set of the ATR's not as aggrasive as the ST's or STT's but there great for highway driving. A hell of lot better than those General's that FORD throws at us! JUNK!!
Hey guys, I just wanted to give you my opinion and remember it is just an opinion. I owned a set of the Cooper st's and had them on a F-350 with a fiberglass canopy. I did lots of hauling and my second season of elk hunting (18,000 miles) they left me standed in the middle of no where with 3 flats due to barely sharp rocks on a old logging road. I have 27k on my BFG A/T's and 3 seasons of deer and elk. Good luck guys lets just remember it's rubber and some fit people's life styles differently.
