headrest monitors?

Has anyone put headrest monitors into there superduty? I have the lariet package with the 1 piece seats, no adjustable headrest. the leather goes from the back of the seat all the way to the top of the headrest. Does anyone know what kind of supports are under the leather? I hate to just start cutting the seats appart and find it's not going to fit, could be expensive. Thanks for any advice or pictures.

Hi Ponch,

Like you mention, since there's no removeable headrest, I couldn't find anything "easy". So I went with a ceiling-mounted flip-down screen + DVD player. Wireless headsets.

I saw some new Audiovox monitors that come with a head rest. The good thing about the monitors is that the player is made in with the unit, all it needs is power. You might be able to buy a unit by itself or buy a head rest and take the unit out.

I don't need the player built in. I have a full computer in a custom built center console that will be used as the source for video. I have a 15" lcd in the console for the front two passengers and want to put 2 headrest monitors in for the rear passengers. Just looking if anyone has put headrest monitors in and can give a little insight to what is behind there when you start cutting the seats appart. Thanks

Ponch, I know someone around here has an excursion that they installed monitors in the headrests, I can't remember his name though. Maybe try making a post in that forum.
