Trailer Towing Relay needed?

I put my Lance camper on my truck and the lights work, but the LT RT just give a quick blink. The connector is spliced off of the trucks running light wires running down the driver side frame. Is there a relay kit to build/buy or is something wrong. The Lance works on my other truck.
Thanks!
Bob

You should have a trailer wiring line available, my 86 has a relay for the lights, but not the turn signals. What you need though, is a heavy duty flasher, you apparently have a light duty unit, and with more lights, they will flash faster.

Get a heavy duty flasher...... preferably an electronic one solves all problems. Goes in the cab fuse box....... If your not aware there is a mod for the head lights here..... that stops excess heat occuring in the main light switch, now you have more camper lighting anything extra through the switch may cause it to burn up.

Perfect! I will do the headlight mod as well. I noticed my headlight switch was slightly melted. I will put relays on all lines for Truck Camper and Trailer.

Thanks!
