Lifter Like noise 99 Expy
Hi all,
I have a 99 Expydition with the 5.4L motor. 92Kmiles on it and it just started making a noise like a lifter is stucK or it is not getting enough oil. The funny thing is that on startup it is fine and after about three minutes of running it starts making the ticking noise. it sound like it may be on the passenger side of the motor. Engine runs fine otherwise.
Any ideas?

Not sure if this is the noise you hear, but my Ford Dealer once said to me: "you hear that ticking noise? That is an exhuast leak. You should get it fixed or it might not pass inspection some day".
