I found Performance Trends once upon a time on a Mustang forum and liked that one alot better than Desktop Dyno. It had more customization and you could pick actual parts instead of typing in all the specs for them like a certain Comp Cam or an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. It also gave the HP at the rear wheels after putting in your transmission and diff. Unfortunately It will not work on my computer since I upgraded to Vista so I no longer have it.

I just tried the Demo of Performance Trends Engine Analyzer. I think the layout is more confusing and it uses weird measurements. How many people know the intake runner length on their head? Desktop Dyno uses the industry standard cfm flow. Also the program said my engine combo was making less power than a stock 85 Mustang HO.

You may not know the intake runner length but as long as you know the head you have you should be able to select it from the list. Also I think it was the Stangnet forums that I found the download of the Engine Analyzer and Drag Analyzer.
