My 06 had the speedometer problem, but besides that it has been a great truck. My buddies dad had one of the first 2003 6.0's and i for some reason thought that truck was a little quicker than my 06 is. I can vividly remember the rainy day i drove it and when i punched it the tires spun in gears 1 through 3. My 06 is great but it won't do that i dont think. I say i think because when its you that wrote the $40k+ check you dont do so some things you would do with someone elses.
my dads 03 f250 6.0 cc wont spin the tires either i the rain i think its cause we put new tires on it hes now looking at a great deal on a 07 king ranch cc lb 6.0 dullay just wanted to know how they were holding up and i see that there is not that many gas stations carring ulsd would it hurt anything to run regular lsd. thanks again.
No issues here. I now have 2800 miles on mine and have towed several boats up to 16k lbs. This forum has made me very cautious about 6.0l problems and being a first time Ford truck buyer I have found myself trying to find something wrong with it to no avail.
we took the new 07 king ranch cc lb drw for a ride today i think it has 410 gears the rpms seem to be at 2000 at 60 mph but the truck is really smooth and quiet compared to our 2004 with 03 motor and when it was cold ran alot better not smoking at running so rough and i like that there is a constant turbo whistle up 2 2000 rpms and the king ranch are really comfortable seats im suprized we were coming up out street and my dad floored it and spun the wheels but the truck isnt a pepy as the 04 but overal alsome rig and we can now shut the tail gate when my dirtbike is in the back
Mines got 2000 miles on her in 1 month, problem free and way quieter than my nieghbors 05 psd. Owned a 92 F150 and cannot believe the difference in trucks from the same automaker. The F250 is comfortable and powerful.
