air susp

i have a 02 4.2 l 4x2 and on the passenger kick panel where the fuel shutoff button is it also says air susp does anyone know what that is about i dont think my truck has air suspension is that soething that came on other models and they just put them panels in all trucks or what. thanks for all yalls help

My 97 F150 4.6 auto 4x4 has the same thing stamped on it. I believe the kick panels were the same for the F150s and 97-02 Expeditions. The air suspension was available on the expeditions.

Yep, probably there just because the panels were used on the expys too, but I have heard of a few F-150’s with the air suspension, think it’s only been on the ones with the heavy payload package though.
