Tank Selector
I have two tanks on my diesel and only the rear works. I think either the switch is bad or the selector is bad. Can someone give me a quick rundown as to how the selector works and where its actually located? Im not an idiot (i do a lot of electrical and mechanical work) i just don't know much about the circuirty of this particular truck.
Thanks,

On a side note, im looking at buying a 1996 F250 (powerstroke). Is there anything I should pay particular attention to on this year/model? Anything I should stay away from? Is it a good idea/bad idea???
The 96 powerstroke is 1st generation PSD and pretty decent running rig. The quirks on those were Glow Plug relays were updated 3 or 4 times because of early burnout failures. The cam sensor was also a problem child if that fails truck will start and run a little and then quit. 1 injector new costs almost what 8 will for your IDI. I owned a 96, 2001, 2004 powerstrokes. The most reliable was the 96 but I saw the light and went back to old faithful IDI. Been happy ever since.
good luck
