intake differences-venturi size

intake differences-venturi size
I am building a 460 for my 78 f240 4x4. I have accumulated parts over the last couple of years and have noticed that the two intakes, one off of a 72 429 and a 76 have different size venturis. On the '72 all 4 are about the same size but the 76 has rear venturis much larger than the front. The block I will be using is a 76 Truck block. I am building the motor for longevity and drivability. Which of these two intakes would be preferable? Also, I have a good 4350 motorcraft carb, would it work better on either of the two intakes?

If you have a good 4350 carb, it will give better throttle response and mileage running off of the small primaries and have good power with the large secondaries. If you needed a carb, I would use the square bore intake (all 4 the same size) and an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb.
