Check out the appearance forum...... FTE has all these special forums for special topics.This is one of them.
If users post in them .. they will become as busy as the year specific forum.
There are TONS of cleaning up anodized parts in that forum.
My favourite.... Nevr-dull.

my neighbor used wenol in the blue tube... his shines like polished stainless... my grille is o'natural in it's oxidized state. good luck finding wenol in the blue tube.... you may want to try ebay or amazon.com for the blue tube of wenol.

Easy-off oven cleaner will strip off the anodized coating. Then you will be able to polish it to a high luster. After polishing, you'll need to recoat it with something to keep it looking nice. You may want to consider re-anodizing it.
