mass air swap

can a mass air meter from a 88-93 or 94-95 mustang work on my 95 f150 5.0?

Yes, as long as you have the matching computer.

What computer are you using? If the mass air computer you have recognizes 19lb injectors you may be ok. If not, you could have a chip burned by someplace like Superchips or use a tuner like the tweecer or PMS.

It is the factory 5.0l 1995 auto 2wd computer. I would have to pull the computer out to get the # off it. The plug on my C&L mass air off my 91 mustang looks the same as my 95 f150 mass air plug and sensor.

So your truck is mass air then? If so and the C&L is calibrated for 19lb injectors then yes it will work on the F150. Don't expect any performance improvements though, it may actually make low speed and idle quality worse... unless the motor in the F150 is heavily modified of course.
