1993 f-250 Mass Air conversion

I need some help guys, I want to convert my truck to mass air. I have a A9l computer out of a mustang. and i have a mass air for the truck. My truck is a 1993 F-250 4x4 351w 5 Speed. I pulled a harness (mass air)out of a f150 and put it in my truck and when i started driving it the 4x4 light would glow brighter as the more gas i gave it. The mass air wasn't reading at all. So i took it back out. Can i just do a pin conversion on my stock harness like they do with the 86 and down mustangs? If so what pins do i change?

Thanks Frank

You will need to strip the wiring for the MAF meter and injectors from the donor harness you have and insert it in your stock harness, and then there are pins that have to be moved as well, on the spreadsheet below the pins in color are to be moved and those in grey are added.

Not sure what you mean by a "maf plug harness".

As it stands your truck only has 3 wires for all the injectors because they are fired in batches of 4 from the truck computer, but the Mustang EEC uses sequential injection with a dedicated wire for each injector and these wires don't exist in your truck harnessso they have to be added.
