stalling problem....stumped

I have a 87 F150 302 that has been stalling out. I can hold the rpm's on about 2000 and it's like I'm turning the ignition switch on and off. The rpm's go up and down constantly. Truck idles fine. The stalling is only under throttle. Tried a new fuel pump relay, no change. Recently changed the ignition module, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor button. The truck has never completely quit, but sometimes makes me wonder if it is going to or not. Pulling codes gives me a 33-EGR. It has had this code since I owned it. Has new EGR valve too. I have been chasing a miss in this truck for a while now. It runs fine until you hit a hill, and then starts missing. I swapped ECM with another truck (not the same part #'s) and the stalling disappears, but I'm not ready to blame the ECM because they were not exact part # matches. Help!!

Have you tried replacing the EGR sensor? If you are still having EGR codes after replacing the valve, I'd try the sensor.

How about an air leak, such as an intake gasket? I had a truck one time that had a bad distributor bushing that would run great sometimes & then all of a sudden would run like someone rearanged the spark plug wires.
