I ran the diagnostics on my truck today with my tunner and it pulled these 3 codes.
P0470 exhaust brake pressure sensor cir er
P0478 exhaust pressure control valve, high input
P1211 ICP not controllable
Does anyone know anything about any of these three items? My truck has been missing lately so I ran the diagnostics and that is what came up. On a second note, I have noticed a strange noise that I dont know if I can even explain but it makes like almost a hissing noise until I depress the clutch and then it stops until I let the clutch out. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Wow, no answer yet. It seems the hissing and pressure codes are from the EBV. You can try cleaning the tube or simply wait until it is warmed up but you should have experienced this by now over the winter.
I will have to get back to you on the P1211 code. My shop DVD is in my car. Same goes for the other codes. I suspect another issue but have to check it out.
I see you have chipped the PCM. This is a common code. I have a DP-Tuner flashed PCM for 60HP Tow tune and it does give this code when under load. Jody said it is normal. The fix is to have Dual HPOPs
