Ok, I've found a used potential V10 truck. 2006 CC 250SD V10 Lariat 4WD w/ less than 36,000 miles-there is a little warranty left. The sum total of my history in used car purchases, a number of years ago, is on cars with 4 cylinder engines and no trucks or 4WD vehicles.
The truck looks clean (at least on the internet pictures) but I'd like to know what I should be looking for (if anything on a 2006) from the group of V10 owners here.
I've asked what the rear end ratio is at this point.
BTW-I'll get a Carfax report if its of value.
Any thoughts or comments from the collective?

How far away from it are you? Can you take it out on a test drive?
Sounds like either an off-lease type deal or the guy didn't like the gas mileage.
There isn't any glaring problems with those trucks. Drive it and be happy...even when filling it up.

Yep, plan on driving it-I'm about 70 miles from it. I'm astonished at the people that can vehicles buy off eBay w/o a test smoke. I'd be doubting myself the whole time w/o the test run. More power to those that can though.....
