Our 1989 Bronco is shooting water back through the radiator and spewing out of the front. I have been told that this could be the head gasket, but someone else has said it might just be the water pump. It starts, but runs really rough, and of course, it can't be driven due to the loss of water. Any ideas would be appreciated! My husband is letting the poor thing sit and rot because he's afraid it's too major. :-X11

 

Do you have white smoke / steam / sweet antifreeze smell coming from the tailpipe? If so, it's likely a head gasket or cracked head..... (i.e. not the water pump.....)
