The dealership can only void your warrany if the mod directly causes the failure. However, you might have to fight it if you screw up. It's unlikely that a tuner will cause you any issue.
I love and use Sniper's Special Forces, my second choice is Superchips. Third would be Edge and forth hypertech.

Tuned my 99 4.6 last night with the Edge Evolution and all that I can say is WOW! The acceleration and power gains are unbelievable. The gear transfer is as smooth as silk and I am running 200 - 300 less rpms for the same speeds on interstate. I filled my tank before making the program change and I am very curious if there will be an improvement in the mpg. I will assume that there will be since I am running lower rpms. My only issue was that I miscalculated my tire size and this threw my odometer off. But a quick correct calculation and it reads dead on now. I am running level 2 and will run this for about a month to determine if there is a fuel savings. I will then try the level 3. All that I can say right now is that I am confident that this was a good purchase
if for nothing else but the power gain.
