Door Window removal
I could use some help in how you go about removing the door glass from a 95 F-150 with power windows. I have to fix the locking mechinisum so I have to remove the glass so I can get to the lock. I am trying to hook up the rod that goes to the lock from the door lock on the outside. The rod came off after the plastic broke at the top. Do I remove the vent glass? Any help would be appreciated.

Start by lowering the main window all the way down. Then remove the vent glass.. there are 2 screws under the rubber seal on the sloped forward part of the door, and a 3rd bolt just below the lock mechanism. Pull back on the top of the vent window after removing the screws, turn the window in 90 deg and shimmy it out of the door. You will have to pull the window seal out of the track, and loosening the inner retainer bolt for the mirror may help.
Now reach into the door and slide the main window glass forward off the regulator arm. That's it.
