tierod clearance
Hello everyone, I had asked a question earlier to day about removing the upper an lower control arm's on a 2000 f150 2 WD,,,,,, Well i gathered up enough information on here in the forums to get the job done,, well got them off anyway. I have another question for you, how much clearance should you have between the inner tie rod on the driver's side, where it connects to the centerlink, and the frame ? I had to replace the pittman arm cause it had my tierod pushed into the frame, now it clear's it, but not by much, maybe 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch,,,,,, Is this enough ? Anyone have any idea ?
