Weight question

Anyone tell me what my 1997 F-150 Regular Cab long Bed 4x4 weighs?

I had my 99 F-150XL reg cab, long bed, 4.6, 2wd weighed for resistration purposes, and it topped out at 4600 lbs.

The door tag will give you GVW (Gross Vehicle weight), not actual weight.

Yes, should be over 5K. Figure if the above XL 2wd was 4600 a 4wd will most likely be over 5K depending on the tranny etc etc. I've always wanted to weigh mine but never have yet. I always guessed it was around 5500.

my 2003 Supercrew Lariat loaded right up with options weighs in at 5700 lbs with a full tank of gas and no driver, about 5500 with no spare and little gas in it. These trucks are heavy but I think the are a fair amount lighter then the 2004 and up.

SuperCab short bed 4x4 weighs right around 5300lbs, driver and gas. Rough estimate for your paticular setup would be to take your GVW and subtract the bed capacity (found in your manual). That should give you a very good estimate.
