$3800 good price?? ASAP!!

I have the opportunity to buy a 91 F350 CC/LB with a FI 460 and 5-speed. It has the KP 60, rear D60 with a disc brake conversion. The truck is an XLT with all the bells and whistles and the interior is in pretty good shape. 120K on the ticker. Body is pretty straight, too.

It has an ORU shackle reversal, 6" springs, both axles are trussed and everything works. The rear springs leave a little to be desired as they are stock with 9" of blocks....that would go. 37x12.5 Goodyears on Eagle wheels.

Please tell me if you'd pay $3800 for the truck.

Cody that would be a steal at that price if you have the money go for it.

Sounds pretty good to me. It's always worth a try to get the guy to go down.
Just curious, you still looking to run 54s? If so, those D60s would be useless for that much tire.

Well, I am going to purchase it. I really can't get the 'guy' down any more as he is my boss and this vehicle was traded in this morning. The cost I'm paying is what he payed...and I don't have to pay any doc. fees. It's either I buy it or it goes to auction where who knows what will happen.

My brother is actually friends with the guy who originally built the truck and he's been infatuated with it for years. I'm going to buy it though and drive the living heck out of it.

Nope, MBB, I'm not going with 54s. I wanted to for so long, but had such good luck with the 49" Iroks (they look a lot better proportionally to me) that when I do get around to making them fit on the next project, I'll use them again.

So I guess I'll let you know how it goes........Then I'll get pictures up here.

Thanks, guys.

It should have the Sterling 10.25 rear under it. A D60 rear is quite a bit weaker than the 10.25

Yep, for a one owner 4x4 crew cab with four doors. 460 and 5 speed, whats not to like :-)

If this was a reg. cab, maybe not, but, the crew cab is highly desirable.

I know the difference...been doing this for a while........

Yep, it's got a 60 rear....transplanted. I know it's SUPPOSED to have a 10.25" but it doesn't. It DOES have rear disc brakes, though.

I know you know the difference. I've just never known anyone to swap a 60 in place of a Sterling....Seems kinda odd to me! hehe
